Meet the Registered Dietitians
Meet Rachel Masser, Founder & Lead Registered Dietitian
Rachel understands that each one of us is unique in our genetic makeup as well as our life experiences that impact our behaviors, nutrition and health status.
Rachel is a trauma informed and certified nutrition practitioner that utilizes an integrative and functional approach in the nutrition treatment and counseling she provides by exploring root causes of chronic disease, obesity and imbalances.
She believes that at the root, many chronic disease states, cases of obesity, and imbalances in the body are linked to disconnection to and abandonment of Self, coupled with poor self-regulation and self- care practices surrounding nutritional intake and lifestyle behaviors.
Rachel is a firm believer that when properly educated and supported, we all have the power within us to make improved nutrition and lifestyle choices and little by little, more often than not, bring balance back to the body and heal.
Rachel specializes in areas of chronic disease and obesity prevention and management, nutrition optimization, digestive and gut health, women’s health including hormone balance and pre & postpartum nutrition, disordered eating patterns, sports and cognitive performance nutrition, plant-based nutrition, and weight management.
Meet Samantha Blanton, Tailored Bites' Registered Dietitian.
Samantha Blanton, a dedicated registered dietitian committed to promoting holistic health and wellness. With a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics earned from Arizona State University, Samantha embarked on her journey to empower individuals to achieve their health goals through evidence-based practices and compassionate care.
Her professional experience includes a rigorous supervised practice at the VA Medical Center in West Virginia, where she specialized in outpatient care. There, Samantha assisted patients in reaching their weight management goals and addressed health concerns such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. Beyond her focus on disease prevention, Samantha possesses an interest in women's health and the use of the Low FODMAP diet in certain gastrointestinal conditions.
Samantha's philosophy is an approach that encompasses mindful and intuitive eating rather than restrictive dieting. Her biggest wish is for her clients to uncover their unique and personal route to health, forming habits that stick around for the long haul. She's eager to be your supportive guide on this exciting journey!
